Sustaining Membership
Sustaining Membership is available to all organizations that are
eligible for either Industry, Industry Associate, or Government/Non-Profit
membership (see below).
Additionally, Sustaining Members enjoy the benefits of increased
participation in all NHA programs and assurance of a seat on the
NHA Board of Directors, up to a bylaw-defined limit. In addition,
sustaining members are the only voting members of the NHA Policy
Committee.
Sustaining Membership in the NHA is $15,000 per year.
Industry Membership
Private companies, public or private utilities, organizations created
by companies or utilities, or major buyers or users of hydrogen
which already are involved or have plans to become involved in the
production, storage, transportation, utilization, or technology
related to hydrogen, are eligible for membership as Industry Members.
The Industry Membership class is entitled to proportionate representation
on the Board of Directors, with a minimum of two seats apportioned
to this class.
Membership dues are determined by a dues ladder, which is based
on corporate annual gross revenues of each organization as follows:
Industry Associate Membership
For one year after election, as Associate Industry Member shall pay
annual dues equal to 75% of the Industry Member annual dues, and be
ineligible to vote or hold office. Thereafter, the Associate Industry
Member shall be considered a full Industry Member, with all the rights
and obligations of such membership.
Membership dues are determined by a dues ladder, which is based on
corporate annual gross revenues of each organization as follows:
Government/Non-Profit Membership
Government/Non-Profit membership is open to all government agencies,
departments, and research laboratories other than those eligible for
Industry Membership. It is also open to all non-profit organizations
interested or involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation,
utilization or technologies.
Government/Non-Profit Members are entitled to proportionate representation
on the Board of Directors.
Government/Non-Profit membership dues are $2000 per year.
Small Business Members Small Business Members are organizations which, except for size,
would be qualified to be Industry Members. Small businesses are those
that have fewer than 50 employees.
Small Business Members are entitled to proportionate representation
on the Board of Directors.
Government/Non-Profit membership dues are $2000 per year.
University/Education Members Universities, education organizations, and highly qualified individuals
dedicated to education, research scholarship, or other academic or
theoretical pursuits relating to hydrogen production, storage, transportation,
utilization or technologies, are eligible for membership as University/Education
Members.
University/Education Members are entitled to proportionate representation
on the Board of Directors.
University/Education membership dues are $1000 per year.
Regular Subscribers Regular Subscribers receive an annual subscription to the NHA
News and the NHA's Legislative Update. They also are eligible
for the member rate on NHA publications and a $50 discount off registration
costs for the NHA's Annual Conference.
Student/Educator Subscribers Student/Educator Subscribers receive an annual subscription to
the NHA News and the NHA's Legislative Update. They
also are eligible for the member rate on NHA publications and a $50
discount off registration costs for the NHA's Annual Conference.
