Transitions at the NHA: Staff Departures and Arrivals

We are saddened to announce the departure of long-time staff member and friend Lara Hughes from the National Hydrogen Association. Ms. Hughes began her career with the NHA on April 1, 1999, and served as Administrative and Events Manager. Her last day was May 5, 2005. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.

The National Hydrogen Association is pleased to welcome Emily Bryant as the new Events Coordinator! Ms. Bryant began her service with the NHA on June 15th.

She has a wide range of experience, which includes providing marketing consulting for an academic travel agency, serving as Coordinator for the National Park Trust and serving as an Executive Assistant for the Korea Economic Institute of America.

Additionally, Ms. Bryant spent a college semester at sea, traveling around the world as part of an international education program. Her travels took her to ten countries, where she studied Cross-Cultural Communications, World Geography, World Music, and Political Science.

She has a Masters' Degree from George Washington University in Tourism Administration (concentration in Events Management) and a B.A. in Communications from Lynchburg College (minor in Multicultural Communications).
