Two NHA Support Staff Move On

The NHA bids adieu to two staff members, Kim Holland and Erin O’Donnell.

Kimberly Holland, administrative assistant, left the NHA in September due to a move out of the immediate area. She had been at the NHA since July of 1996 and was the primary contact for information transfer.

Erin O’Donnell, meeting and exhibits manager for the NHA since August of 1996, has accepted the position of Director of Meetings with the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. Her last day at the NHA was 13 October 1997.

The NHA wishes to thank both these women for their exemplary work and dedication. We wish them the best.

SEIA Seeks Data from NHA Members

The Solar Energy Industries Association is putting together a marketing brochure on the basic economic benefits of renewable energy sources, and has invited NHA members to contribute information favorable to hydrogen. The brochure is aimed at showing the U.S. Congress that renewables will create jobs and reduce dependence on foreign oil, among other economic benefits.

The intention is to give readers a “snapshot” of the renewable industry today and in the future. The sort of economic analysis information SEIA is seeking includes: job creation projections for the industry, numbers of jobs currently in industry (direct and indirect), size of the industry as a whole ($), growth rates, and projected growth rates into the next century.
