American Electric Power Presentation
American Electric Power’s (AEP) Manager of Corporate Technology Development, Manoj Guha, gave a presentation to NHA staff and members entitled “Hydrogen: The Promise, the Reality, and the Role of Fossil Fuels.” Members in attendance included, Gas Technology Institute, General Motors, Honda, Praxair, and the U.S. Department of Energy. The purpose of the lecture was to explain AEP’s interest in hydrogen technology and hydrogen production. Hydrogen Technology Job Fair
The National Hydrogen Association hosted its Second Annual Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Job Fair in conjunction with the 14th World Hydrogen Energy Conference. Twenty-three prospective job seekers from around the world attended the one-hour session and listened to and met with representatives from the National Research Council of Canada, Shell Hydrogen, Sentech, and NASA-Kennedy Space Center. Representatives discussed their organization and the qualifications that they look for in a potential employee. Interviews were conducted throughout the week in the NHA’s Information Center, sponsored by South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Resumes collected from the job seekers were placed on the NHA’s website at www.HydrogenUS.org. Please feel free to review the resumes on the site, print them out and contact the candidates directly.
