Power-Gen Renewable Energy Trade Show (PGRE) Adds Hydrogen and Fuels

The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) announces that it is adding a focus on hydrogen and fuels to this year's Power-Gen Renewable Energy & Fuels conference and exhibition to be held April 10-12, 2006 in Las Vegas. The event is hosted by ACORE and PennWell Corporation. NHA is a partnering organization in support of the event.

Bringing together over 2,000 power professionals, PGRE features exhibits and participation by the leading renewable energy and hydrogen companies for three days of networking and new business. With 4 international pavilions, over 150 booths, and 60 of the industry's top speakers, Power-Gen Renewable Energy & Fuels 2006 will bring together for the first time both the renewable electricity industry (wind, solar, hydro power, geothermal energy, ocean/tidal, and biomass), and renewable fuels (biofuels, ethanol, methanol, and biodiesel), including a new emphasis on emerging energy technology (hydrogen systems, fuel cells, microturbines and energy storage).

The 2006 show marks an important milestone with the addition of hydrogen and fuels to the mix. With hydrogen technology suppliers from automobile manufacturers to fuel cell developers already signed up to exhibit, this show promises to elevate hydrogen's visibility and position within the RE industry.

Power-Gen Renewable Energy & Fuels is one of the industry's must-attend events of the year.
