On
a recent visit to Long Beach, California the NHA Annual Conference Management
Staff's expectations were exceeded. "Not only is Long Beach, a beautiful
and clean location, it is hip too," said NHA President, Jeff Serfass. "This
is a dynamic location for the NHA Conference". The visiting NHA staff was
impressed with the upscale Hyatt Regency (which has striking views of the beach
and harbor) and the new Convention Center which is adjacently attached and where
most of the Conference will be housed. The surrounding area is upmarket and vibrant.
There are many great new restaurants and shops all within walking distance of
the venue. The night life is thriving as well and there are exciting tourism opportunities
including; tours of the historic Queen Mary, the Long Beach Aquarium, and trips
to Catalina Island.
When you first exit off the highway, you are greeted by a nice sign in a garden
area with palm trees that says, "Welcome to Long Beach!" The NHA looks
forward to welcoming you to Long Beach, California next March and hopes that
you too will find the location for the 17th Annual Conference and Hydrogen Expo
US just as inviting.
